Google Talk is very similar to Skype and allows users to speak (computer to computer) with other Google clients. So what this primarily does is eliminate long-distance phone charges. Now, I know from being an active Skype user, it is an excellent service and I love how it can connect me to speak to many of my International friends but you are connected to your computer. I personally have got quite used to moving around (lol).Google Talk also (again like Skype) has a chat to chat box. So if you are online with your Google friend, you are able to send chat messages back and forth.What Google Talk is not is an SMS message service.OK, What is huge about Chat to Text when comparing Google Talk is: Chat to Text is a portable application that allows us to speak with our friends (and them us) from our computer to their text messaging service on their personal cell phone. The portability of Chat to Text is from what I understand not available elsewhere. What do I mean about portability? CTT, allows us to chat from Facebook, MySpace and Bebo. We can add CTT to any one of our pages that has html capablities. Huge and what amazing free advertising too. CTT also allows you to text message to your friends without knowing their cell phone number. There is no other service that I'm aware of that has this. Finally, you do not have the ability to make money using Google Talk.
